This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information obtained from users ("Users") of Hex's Discord bot services. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. If you identify any misrepresentations or inaccuracies in this Policy, please contact us through our official support channels.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION

We collect and process the following categories of data:

  • User Identifiers: User IDs, usernames, and nicknames
  • Guild Information: Guild IDs, Guild names
  • Communication Data: Channel IDs, Role IDs, Message IDs, and message timestamps
  • Command Arguments: Information provided as arguments when executing commands
  • Historical Data: Last deleted message content (maximum of 19 entries, retained for no more than 2 hours) and message edit history (maximum of 19 entries, retained for no more than 2 hours)

3. PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

We collect and process User data solely for legitimate operational purposes, including:

  • Facilitating command execution and bot functionality
  • Debugging and technical maintenance
  • Supporting specific features such as moderation tools and server management
  • Data aggregation for service optimization

All data collected is maintained in accordance with the retention periods specified in Section 2.

4. THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE

  • We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer User information to external third parties.
  • We may disclose information only as required by law or valid legal process.

5. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

5.1 Right to Erasure

Users may request deletion of their personal data by contacting our support team. Requests must:

  • Specifically identify the information to be deleted
  • Provide sufficient evidence of account ownership
  • Allow for up to 14 days processing time

5.2 Right to Access

Users may request access to their stored data through our support channels. Response time may take up to 7 business days.

5.3 Self-Service Data Management

Users may manage their data through in-bot commands and server dashboard tools. Specific data management features are documented in our official bot documentation.

6. POLICY AMENDMENTS

  • We may modify this Policy as needed to reflect service changes
  • Continued use of the service implies acceptance of changes
  • Significant changes will be announced through our official Discord server
